Hey guysssssssssss!!
Welcome to Gist, a new section on the blog where I kind of just bore you guys to death over stuff that’s happened.
Jk.
But really, I think this is kind of like a spin off of ‘the other day’ which was also a segment on the blog that I did something a bit similar. I’m guessing most of you don’t know that. I’m going to stop rambling now.
Moving on……… π

So I was thinking about what to post today and then I remember this weird stuff that I have, or occasionally have.
I have this ‘thing’,Β like episodes sort of,Β where things start going fast all of a sudden. Like I can’t really explain it but it’s like a sensation when I can LITERALLY hear and see everything around me going FASTER than it should.
And yes, I immediately know what you’re thinking.
WTH?!!
Honestly I have no idea what it is. I don’t know what it is or how it started. All I know is occasionally or sometimes I see and feel everything around me speeding away and I’m the only one that’s aware of it. Literally!!
It started when I was a lot younger and for some reason, it didn’t bother me then. I probably thought it happened to everyone. I remember this one time asking one of my brothers if he can see stuff moving fast. I’m sure he didn’t know what I was saying.
Sometimes it’ll happen during exams and I would literally hear every single thing around me moving faster. The ceiling fan, the breeze, people, raindrops, my pen in my hand, my eyeballs, even my thoughts! It’s that freaky!!
My younger brother used to joke about it, like I had powers or something and we would laugh. But it’s not a joking matter o!! Sometimes it can be terrifyingly annoying.
Thankfully it doesn’t happen all the time. And when it does, I’m usually by myself. Like awake by myself at night reading. Or at home in my room. Or during tests and exams.
However, when things got a little out of hand, meaning I was getting a bit fed up, I decided to tackle this problem. I basically did what every other millennial kid my age would do. I embarked on the age old quest called ‘google search’ π. I later found out that it might be caused by a rush of adrenaline. Other websites said it’s kind of like a nervous disorder. Another suggested it’s a form of vertigo but I don’t feel nauseous or dizzy when it happens. All I know is everything is going fast. And it lasts for about 5 minutes. I think the worst one lasted for about 20 minutes or so.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it for today!!
