Hello beautiful people! How y’all doing? Hope you’re having a great morning, afternoon or night. Today’s post is going to be a first ever monthly empties post! And yes, I know what you’re thinking, May was like a week ago. I know, i know. I haven’t had time to write and post on the blog for quite a while but I’m back and ready for action! So yeah, let’s begin!
Sonya Aloe Refreshing Toner
Number 1 on my empties list is one of my favourite skincare products, Sonya Aloe Refreshing Toner by Forever Living Products. Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of products for my skin. I have oily and fairly sensitive skin so it’s been somewhat of a struggle in finding products that suit my skin type. I’ve been through the whole frustration phase that any teen most likely has and yes, there were times that I hated myself and my skin. But thank God that’s over now cause I finally found what works best for my skin.
Forever Living Products specializes in making natural products for general health and wellbeing. The concentrate on aloe vera, which they call the flower of youth, because for some reason, it has amazing properties that helps heal and restore. They also came up with a beauty line called Sonya which is where all or most of their makeup and skincare products are stocked. While it is somewhat on the pricey side it’s definitely worth it. This is probably my 3rd bottle so far and yes, I’ve gotten another one!

Dark and Lovely Leave in Conditioner
I’ve been using Dark and Lovely products probably since I was 5 years old. They have a wide range of products to chose from that suits whatever hairtype you have. I have really thick hair that tangles so easily when its wet. So conditioner is kinda my best friend. I’ve gone back and forth on a lot of conditioners in the past but this is the one I’m currently using.
I remember when I was in sophomore of college, I forgot my conditioner at home and I had to use this really terrible hair product, it was a shampoo and conditioner, and my hair immediately knotted. I mean it LITERALLY knotted and tangled so bad I couldn’t comb it out. I eventually had to cut out the knotted parts and when that was done, my head was on fire from all the struggle to comb it out and my hair was a sad shadow of what it was which made me really sad cause one of the things I really loved about myself was my hair. So yeah, it took a while but thankfully my hair’s back to normal and I’m never going to compromise on quality haircare ever again 😀 . I’d probably share my hair routine with you guys and how I got my hair back in shape in another post.
Longrich Cleansing and Treatment Shampoo
This is another one of my absolute favourite hair products. I’ve been using Longrich products for a while now and I have to say they’re pretty amazing. They’re also kind of like FLP but I like FLP better. However, one thing I do like about Longrich products is that they have some type of health benefit or the other which is really good. I’m all for healthy living 😀 .
Forever Living Products Aloe Lips
I’ve actually never been a fan of lip balm….ever. I mean I used to buy it but never actually use it. But this lip balm absolutely changed my life….okay that might be somewhat of an exaggeration, but frfr, it’s the real deal. I love it not only because it smells really nice but it has natural properties- aloe vera and jojoba. Plus, I use it on insect bites, cuts or bruises and it helps heal them! So yh, get you an FLP Aloe lips balm.
Cussons Baby Lotion
So I know what y’all are thinking- what the hell am I doing with some baby lotion. FYI, I accidentally stumbled upon this product early this year when I was looking for a lotion for school. I’ve gone back and forth on a lot of body creams and moisturisers but for some reason, I really love baby lotions. Not just beacuse they save me a ton of money, regular creams are 3 times the price of baby lotion, but also because they’re really good. They make my skin feel super soft and they smell really good. And they also make me not break out which is common for me cause I have sensitive skin. They don’t contain any harsh substances. So yh, it’s a win-win situation 😀 .
Primo Cologne Spray
We’re down to the last item on my empties list which is one of my absolute favourite perfumes. I got this about 2 years ago and I’m surprised as you are that it’s lasted that long. It comes in a little bottle and it smells sooooooo good. Not just that, it’s super affordable and it lasts really long. I keep it in my essentials bag and it always comes in handy when I need it. Unfortunately, I have no idea where to get it anymore cause the supermarkets around my area have stopped selling it. My best bet right now is to get it from online stores.
And we’re done!
I hope you enjoyed that post. Comment down below what product you absolutely cannot live without. FYI, for more info on any of the products listed above, click on the images! You can also shop them on Amazon!
That’s all for today guys! I’ll see you in my next post!
